    @rjbiii

    On your King shocks did you get them with adjusters w/o? How do you like the ride overall?

    Mine have the adjusters on the front and backs. I like the ride overall. Rides much smoother than stock. I have the 700lbs coils on my 2wd 4cyl so up front its a little stiff on larger rocks/bumps on washboard roads (which i travel on everyday) since its much lighter up front, but i plan on adding sliders, a winch and possibly some skids so i figured i would put heavy coils on now so i didnt have to swap them out later. My other truck is completely stock so what ive noticed is that they soak up much more of the small stuff when driving slower on washboard roads, but you feel a little more of the big stuff unless youre moving a bit quicker(i attribute this to the higher spring rate). But once you get over about 15mph, they soak everything up. Ive driven about 35-40 on the rough rock road near my house and they rode like butter and soaked it all up. Also, the back of my truck cant keep up with the front since i have bags on it (ie the back is more bouncy). Ive been trying to find the right leaf packs to support about 500lbs constant load and provide about 1.5 inches of lift. Ive about settled on the EL095 light duty dakars, but im just saving up for those now. Im pretty sure the ride out back will improve dramatically once i get some good leaf packs and ditch the bags.

    Also just for reference i have the adjusters cranked all the way to the softest setting because of the stiffer coils and bags, but once i swap the bags out for leafs and add more weight up front, ill dial them in to my liking. If i was to do it again, id probably go with the 650lbs coils up front just due to the 4cyl being lighter and because im only 2wd (the tcase accounts for about a 300lbs difference), but other than that, i couldnt be happier with the setup and im sure itll get better once i get some proper springs out back. Also, i didnt have to adjust the coilovers’ preload at all once i got them and i ended up with 3.5 inches of lift. Ive actually been considering lowering the fronts down a bit to about 3 inches, but i just havent wanted to have to go get another alignment so ive been rolling with it thus far. I think i have about 3-4 threads showing on mine which is how they sent them to me
