Looks dryer up there than it is at our place, our place was a muddy mess until we cut some ditches and cleared the creek bank.

Full width range is cleared out to 50 yards, got one rifle lane about 10' wide cleared out to 85 yards so far, started building a pad to put up a covered shooting area, pad is 15'x30'

Props to Cat for putting a "night" mode for the display, really helps the night vision, and more importantly, it looks tactical, it lets people know that I'm a true operator.

All I got from that is a guy who has no idea what the problem is, keeps throwing money at it to try to "diagnose" the problem. I don't know know whats going on so Ill just shoot more ammo through it to try to figure it out...o that didn't work...let me buy new parts to test it!

A set of calipers and a piece of paper with grid lines would rule out a ton of stuff. Measure to make sure the holes are actually true to the receiver. Take the scope off and do a tracking test (ie take 6 clicks to move on grid...it should take 6 to move back to center). I just don't get the feeling he is actually ruling things out but rather just tossing parts at it hoping.

could be a number of things. The scope rings/mount might not be squared with the rifle barrel, barrel not straight, which makes it shoot to the left, bolt face not square etc. We had a NIB savage that the muzzle break was cross threaded. It wouldnt zero at all. We noticed it was bent up and the bullet was hitting it and making it shoot high. Took it back to the store we bought it from and they exchanged it no questions. So production lines do let some "bad" firearms through.

Sadly this seems to be the modern version of diagnosing issue across the board these days. I have heard Co-workers talk about this happening even at Auto Stealerships to fix stuff.

This doesn't make sense though, he said he didn't adjust horizontally from 100 to 500.

You shouldn't have those problems on a $1200 "most accurate we produce" (according to Remingtons own advertising) rifle though.

You shouldn't...but stuff happens. People have had issues with tracking on top end S&B scopes and nightforces. Sometimes thing get through QA for one reason or another. If this was a custom gun I be a little more upset...the way I look at it though is its a production gun and QA cant be perfect all the time. Sucks for the owner though

Does anyone have a chainsaw bayonet on their AR-15? Not sure how to acquire one of these.

True. I guess this is a classic case of more money than sense. When your rifle goes through multiple hands and optics and still cant hit the broad side of the barn, keep throwing money at the problem instead of sending it in for warranty work.
