That'd be shitty to have it taken away...

Now to find an old school Hilux mechanical diesel....

And yes, I was being sarcastic :tinfoilhat:

I have been riding motorbikes since I was 8 or 9, 60+ years. a few years back my step-daughter asked "Aren't you afraid of dying in a bad motorcycle crash?" I replied quite sincerely that I was more afraid of surviving a bad bike crash--seen too many friends too smashed up to want to go there.

My feelings toward nuclear war (big boom, neutron, EMP or whatever) are pretty much the same; why would I want to survive?

It's not just about being prepared for an EMP. It's really about being prepared for any type of disaster. Earthquake, collapse of the economy, or full blown anarchy. Not everyone has the ability to see someone coming a mile away. I have a small patch of land and we grow some of our own food. Between the dogs and the entire family that know how to shoot, it would take a small army to take what I have. Trust me, when the shit hits the fan, you will wish you had been ready. You can't wait for our government to bring you dinner. Get ready, be ready, for your very own neighbors may want what you have. We live in a fallen world and it's only going to get worse. Good luck my TW friends.

I mostly agree, but I also survived a few pretty crazy motorcycle crashes with no real injuries. No bragging or anything. I think it was more about sheer luck.

Tree fell in a major squall:
    IMG00007.jpg

A lady died many miles away during the same squall when a tree fell on her minivan.

My first get off was plowing a ditch at 40mph or so.

Both of those, the worst thing was a strawberry on my elbow.

The other biggie was t-boning a car that pulled out from a parking lot then stopped right across the road. I just had some bruises on my thighs. I thought that I was going to be hanging out in the back seat of that Jetta.

So, I'm kinda willing to survive at this point. Ha!

I can carry lots of bodies in my Dual Cab Short bed. I just hope I get attacked by midgets so they fit in the bed.

So when are you guys getting tinfoil hats with TW on the front?

This lives in a faraday cage and is self recharging if/when the sun comes out.

Cut & broke off stuff. Prolific ziptie and tape usage.

you can buy EMI/RFI shielding paint but it's about $400 per qt. Or incorporate metal screen into your walls & ceiling as a faraday cage.

The only thing I have that can reach out any distance is the mosin and it doesn't have glass at all. The AR has a 3x fts, but my subs don't even go 200 yards lol

Just find a Galaxy Note 7 and leave it in there.

That way it is also theft protected from the less than honest dwellers of the apocalypse
