Yep, still funny.

Between 22 years military, working at the VA, lodge, TW, state science fair...I am always running into people and am like “I know you! I can’t remember where, but I know you!”

They say memory is the second thing to go. I can’t remember the first...

They tried over charging me so I just had them call Firestone(who does it cheaper) and they price matched me at $89 for my alignment instead of the $134 they were trying to charge.

I had a motorcycle accident when I was 19; a Bell full face helmet saved my life. Since then, I've very rarely ridden w/o a helmet, (less than a mile trips, usually not), and never had a sip of alcohol while riding, (and I mean never). I broke my collarbone, and had a pretty significant concussion. The next 4-6 weeks were interesting, as my memory returned. Until it was fully back, the same thing you described happened; I knew I knew people, they knew I knew them, but I would have to try and figure out from where, without making it too obvious.

 

I have friends at 5 star auto. They do great work.

 

Is that how you get alignments for $50?

 

Lifetime alignment at Firestone. Been on the taco for about 12 years. Worth it.

All Out Off Road (I don't think there's one in Austin) quotes $100, and then when it's time to pay, charges $120 coz "shop fees" for "misc supplies".

 

I think this is a great idea.. would make things easier versus trying to remember everyones name.. I'm really bad with names lol

Five minutes later Im over there askin "what was that dudes name?"

Ive found I really need to focus and commit it to memory if I want to remember a name haha

I'm a lost cause when it comes to names. I just hope there's someone around that's good with them so I can fall back on them and ask them so I don't make a complete ass out of myself

Even then, I probably wouldn't remember the name of the person i'm asking for others' names lol

 

Horrible here as well, unless you have a tail and poop outside, then I'll never forget your name.
