Good morning all, around 27 here in Kalifornia. Couple days ago I had to literally drag the pup outside when I went to town, wasn't that cold that day.
Good news, a favorite stove of mine that would not run properly the other day, I switched it from dyed kerosene to K1 (clear) kerosene, ran as it should then. This one gets really hot to the touch. I had gotten some of the dyed kerosene off a fuel truck when it delivered some fuel to a neighbor. Happy now.
Having trouble with DISH at the moment.

Yesterday was the sad day, took the summer tires and rims off the Tacoma and put the winter ones on. Cleaned up the summer ones and put into storage today.

Morning all. Great picture in the 50 thread of you and your son Mike. When they become adults, they are more of a friend then a son. Glad you have a fishing and hunting partner that you enjoy spending time with .
Weather can't make up it's mind:eek:. Warm in the 70's then drops to in the 40's then up to the 50's then dropping below 32 then next week they are calling for low 70's . No wonder everyone around me is getting sick:annoyed:. Even had some snow in a couple of areas in north central PA. I hope this isn't what we have to look forward to this winter:mad:.

    Morning all:
While SOME of us are putting their boats away, SOME of us are just starting to use them! :D :boink:
We hit the river last night, I managed to land 6 walleyes and my buddy couldn't catch any! Really tough fishing, I missed around 8-9 and my buddy only had about 3 hits, the lure had to be almost just laying there and they would barely hit it hard enough to be able to hook them.
Hummm, come to think of it; I've been giving my buddy a fishing lesson the last couple times out, he's a very good fisherman and we're trying to figure out why he isn't catching nearly as many fish.

GOOD GRIEF, what's this world coming to!
Just read that the Navy's newest aircraft carrier, the Gerald Ford, doesn't have any urinals because it's gender neutral!
Wonder if they will have a problem when the women start complaining that the toilet seat was left up!

Tiny picture but I'm guessing it's a "water closet"? Basically a little room with a hole in the floor and a shower head in the ceiling. Keeps things simple -- and gender neutral too!

OK folks. I've posted photos in the past, but haven't tried posting one since the website was "updated". Having trouble doing it at this time, but let's give it a try .....

    o_O, now that's not nice!
We're going to try it again tonight, what's the old saying "when the going gets tough, the tough get going", at least all the fair weather fishermen are putting their boats away so we're alone!!! :D
Now, if only my buddy could catch some fish!

It's a squat toilet. It's as gender neutral as you can get...only problem is men can't sit and s#*t and read the sports section for long because of the lack of a seat :mad::D

Welcome to the old folks thread. Pull up a chair.

Picture came through great. Good lucking pup.

    Good luck fishing tonight Carl.

Your buddy is "not holding his mouth right", at least that is what we say down here in Dixie.

Our rivers and lakes do not freeze over here so fishing is year round, but we do take some time off for deer hunting. I have fished and deer hunted during the same day though.

Just got back from the river, we caught 4 walleye and missed maybe 5 others. Tonight my buddy finally held up his end, he caught 2 and I caught 2, only problem was that his two were too small and mine were 19 1/2 and 27 1/2, they need to be 18 inches in the river.
Hope he's not telling his wife that he's catching all the fish he's bringing home!
