Even if you show the clock on the home screen, does it show when you're on the phone or in reverse? This is my first vehicle with Bluetooth, but our previous Toyota with backup camera didn't take over the clock with the rear view image. Not a big deal, but annoying ...

I came from an '04. It had a great clock that was always visible.

It was conveniently behind the spoke of the seering wheel, where the light would cuase no glare issues for the driver. So in order to see it you would have to lean over and look down around or through the steering wheel. So really it was difficult at best to see whie driving. o_O

It was always displaying the clock, I will give them that.

I understand the phone issue, though it can be changed in the settings as well to be a popup rather than full screen. I am not sure if that wil keep the clock displayed or not, I have never tried it.

But... reverse?? Really, how often do you need to check the time wile in reverse? I am ussually way more concerned with seeing where I am backing plus any cross traffic, obstacles, children, animals, etc. I can not recall a time when I was backing up the truck and felt I needed an acurate time NOW. But, maybe it's just be me. :notsure:

You know, when you put it that way, I agree it sounds trivial I guess I'm so used to having a dedicated clock display that I still haven't got used to looking on the big screen for the clock. And my first car (from the 1960's) didn't even have a clock. In fact I think I've owned a few with no clock. But it is 2017 now ...

Thanks for the phone pop-up setting tip; I'll check it out.
