I'm willing to bet the seats are all prewired. Mine has them and I LOVE them by the way. First vehicle with them and I use them all the damn time.

Out of curiosity, I looked up the prices for OEM seat heaters and switches. It's over $1,000 for just the 4 seat heaters and 2 switches. I'm sure there's controllers to buy also. Although it would be cool to just buy the components and plug them in, it's not cost effective to do it that way. There are seat heaters on ebay with switches that snap right into the existing switch blank holes, for under $100.

I’m pretty sure there have been threads on this in the past and no one made any of the OEM stuff successfully work, either cause OEM parts to do it were a waste of money or also because of the way it is wired none of the aftermarket stuff plays nice with it without giving yourself a headache.

At least that’s what has been brought up every single time someone posts a thread asking what the wiring harness behind those lower HVAC switches are for.

Well I checked the location for the oem relay for heated seats in my 2015 4x4 TRD Sport DCLB, there are no wires or terminals leading to the relay location. In the OP's pic you can see it has terminals.... mine, not so much....

    (PIC IS FROM OP)
