I've heard of a handful out there now that have cracked the right arm out of a few hundred sold - a couple of those when a passenger's leg hits it with no phone docked. I haven't tried that stuff, but it looks promising. I've used loctite 401 with excellent results - it does wonders healing abs back together, sometimes stronger than the initial bond as these are built up layer by layer from the 3DP process.

Kind of cool to see folks repairing and continuing to run these though! If they break again PM me.

I've stopped churning these out for the most part, but I can get you squared away if you're interested in one. I've since added some additional internal strength where the cracks have been occurring.

    Thanks again,
    Tim

I wish I could program this part on a CNC! As others in this thread, I wouldn't call myself a machinist anymore, though I still try and spend more than a few hours a week in the machine shop at work modifying some production fixturing, prototype, or test fixture. I haven't programmed beyond 3-axis w/ a 4th axis indexing head, and am mostly doing manual stuff the little time I'm in the shop nowadays.

@4x4Taco09 Knows the goods, these things are 3D printed out of ABS plastic - same stuff legos are made out of. As durable as a molded part, no, but surprisingly still robust for a lot of applications. I've contemplated taking a reverse of the 3DP Phone Docks and doing a silicone mold so I could quickly get a few shots of urethane docks, those would be indestructible.

Mirror relocate, chrome delete, new tail lights. (aka nothing noteworthy yet).
Do you make one for the iPhone 6 with either a lifeproof Fre Power case or an Otterbox symmetry?

Urethane would be stronger, but then any impact force gets transferred to the truck's console. My old Nokia lives in the holder, so it gets bumped into quite a lot. Even though it's not heavy, there is a lot of leverage when someone's arm or leg hits it. Fortunately the force makes the holder pop out of the console and nothing gets damaged. I thought about adding double sided tape to keep it in place, but now I'm not sure that would be a good idea. I figure the holder will pop out before it breaks or hurts my center console. Just my observations.

Tim, I'm still thinking about the A-pillar mount, so keep prototyping :)

I apologize for the delayed responses all, I have not been on here much lately as life happens! @SalmonTaco Your replacement is finally on the way! @T4RH33L Sorry for the very delayed response. If you're interested shoot me a PM and we can get you going.

I physically have one "in stock" for your phone/case combo, so it's all yours if interested.
Sadly not at this time. Life has been pretty busy lately and any spare time I have seems to be spent out camping in the truck or on the mountain bike!

I have loved my iPhone 6+ mount but I just upgraded to the iPhone X. Any chance you could do one up for me for the new phone.
