It's close to Christmas but not close enough to start decorating

Christmas time is the best time, that is all.

I hate that it has been made so commercial. Stores in my area start putting Christmas stuff out in September. It's like really?

 

Christmas is awesome! But can the music and decorating wait until the dishes are done on Thanksgiving Day? That's all I ask. Literally once the last fork has been cleaned I will go out and cut down a fucking Christmas tree and turn into the fucking Griswolds! But until then can we celebrate the other holidays??

I just finished drying a roof in, it just got dark. This daylight savings thing.

 

Just got back from the grocery store. Of course, they didn't have what I went looking for even though it's in the weekly flyer. Not even an empty spot. Come back tomorrow, they say. Sure.

Oh, and the place was MOBBED. You'd think Turkey Day was tomorrow.

I think the shopping madness has begun already, my wife said traffic was insane. I’m about to start the rush hour crawl myself.

 

I guess folks figure they better get it done before the stores are out of what they need. That, or Veteran's Day has become a food event I'm unaware of.
