Man I’ll try to get it worked in but I have a lot of stuff going on in my life right now, I can’t just get his file off shapeways... I’m going to have to design a replica somehow... probably using math to render a real scale off of measurements from a digital rendering of a stl file so I can’t even guarantee you how accurate I’ll be able to replicate it. I have no idea what sizes he used in that original file, it’s a ton of work

If you could convince him to give me a copy of the file I could make this job take an eighth of the time

hey guys i've quietly followed this thread for a while now since i live near anniston but no one around that i've seen is remotely on TW...ok so on to my question... i have an '05 prerunner with 192k 4.0 and i'm pretty sure i need a head gasket or something after spending about a week reading through all the applicable forums and all, does anyone here know a good place to get that done without getting hosed... i really like the truck, it runs and rides perfect otherwise is it worth the hassle to rebuild or is a newer motor with less miles a better way to go?

well it started with a cold morning start, idling like crazy then calmed down after about 15 seconds with the check engine light flashing on and off that was 2 weeks ago so i changed the #6 coilpack and all spark plugs then i noticed my radiator was low so i added fluid. Then today on my way to work it started skipping around 55-60 mph while going uphill...i know the vehicle is high mileage and the interior is near perfect but i don't think the previous owner cared about under the hood ( basically all fluids are brownish and lower than they should be)

A mechanic could scan your ecu and figure out what’s wrong pretty quick. Don’t have to get him to fix it, actually I’m pretty sure you can get an error code reader at autozone

i went to o'reillys twice since it started ( closer to the house and didnt want to risk messing anything up considering its age and i don't have a backup vehicle) and the only thing they show is a misfire on #6
