My 'solder' install went perfectly and I appreciate all the work on this.
Could something like this, or something similar, be adapted for the glove box. Had a friend trying to dig around in there the other morning and noticed there wasn't a light in there? There's not suppose to be one already there and mine's just burned out or something is there?

Sorry it didn't work out. I can't believe links in their mod section pay $250, but I don't do anything over there. Glad you are on TW. Mine is great. Thanks.

Yeah, that sounds pretty stupid. No wonder why there are tumble weeds blowing around over there. I do check there once in a while, and noticed one of the moderators picked one up from ebay and had good things to say about it. There was a little following (as much as can be expected there) and I saw a couple people picked a few up. So you got a few sales, and didnt have to pay any ridiculous amount of money.

I actually found this thread through TN. I don't venture must outside the main tacoma page, so I never saw this thread. Switch looks awesome by the way, I love it, it matches with the rest of my dash so well! I went with blue numbers, red arrow, solder method.

That would be awesome!! I'd go for a blue, the orange is hard enough to read, so I can't imagine red be would be much better, but maybe?

I think I may remember reading that the AC cluster is not so easy. You can't get rid of the orange just by changing the color of the LED, as there is an orange film applied somewhere. I remember seeing one guy actually strip the entire cluster, and used stickers to get the text back.

rcbs204, it looks like you have three new projects to work on (If I am reading this correctly).
    1. Fog light switch
    2. AC controls
    3. overhead temp

If they come out as good as the switch, the possibilities are endless.
