I saw two 8 pointers this morning. One at daybreak 50 yds too far to my left and another an hour later 50 yds too far to the right. Both had their nose to the ground . i give them each a rattle as they quartered away and they couldn't even care less.

Archery here doesn't close during gun season and I'm hunting a local watershed that's archery only.

Planning on getting into the woods tomorrow morning with a friend.
Have to play it by ear as it's supposed to get a bit sporty with the cold front coming in.
May have to hunt from the ground and watch for widow makers.

Good afternoon. The wife and I are headed to the dirt track here in a few. Open wheel sprints are tonight, tomorrow night and Saturday night but we only get to go tonight. She works closing shift the rest of the week.

Got off work today, and went over to talk to the boss about some stuff and he told me he didn't know about one thing. "What do you mean you don't know" I ask. "Because I won't be here. todays my last day"
That hit me like a ton of bricks. So, the reason the big boss has been hanging around so much, and the reason so much stuff is getting done around the place lately, is because the big boss is going to be the new BOSS!!!
    :frusty:
I didn't see this crap coming for sure.
I worked here for 9 1/2 years and got pissed and quit for 8 months and came back after dealing with the B.S. of a "better" job, and Ive been back for almost 2 years now. I was gonna quit and buy a truck, but I finally got a nice truck. (we've been working our asses off on it. its coming around) But now Ive got the BOSS as my boss. He likes to lurk around and look at stuff and watch you work and stuff.
Im kinda nervous. I really don't know how this will work out. :notsure:
    :help:
Might wind up buying my own truck after all.who knows.:notsure:
