I busted the ear so I was thinking of trying my hand at repairing it (buy new ear to weld on)

How about manual vs automatic transmission? Lady at the salvage yard told me the automatic one wouldn't work for me?? Don't make no sense

They are all different lengths. Even if by only 1.25”. A super duty can have 7 different shafts.

When i was there recently, I asked them about retubing and servicing a 4runner shaft and they said they have to look at it to asure a price but it's about $100 +. I even asked them about my friends SxS RZR shaft that also needs servicing and retubing and they said that they never worked on a sxs but as long at they can attach it to their machinery it would be no problem.

Your best bet would be to measure to be sure. I've never really checked out a v6 6 speed but as far as I know all access cabs and double cab short beds use the same drive shaft. I have a drive shaft out of a v6 auto double cab in my access 4cyl 5 speed not and I have a spare out of a v6 auto access cab. All three shaft I have are 100% identical, but like I said I've never messed with one out of a 6 speed truck.
im not sure I've ever seen a super duty tacoma, what trim package is that?

I was providing an example of the possibility of multiple shafts.

Just got my drive line shortened 1.25" and rebalanced at Mr. Driveshaft in Farmingdale.
Took it off in their parking lot and had it finished and reinstalled within 3 hours.
They need the complete assembly to rebalance.
Guessing they can do whatever other mods too.

Any chance of getting a great deal on Oregon chains (90PX056G) and a 16" bar (164MLEA041)?

I’d like to see that in action. I have a plug in pole saw I tried to cut down two small trees with this summer and it wouldn’t budge. Needed gas power and both trees were down in 8 mins.

Anyone know where I can get that grippy tape for the sliders? They have it at lowes or HD?
