I also would think to add that mental health services, they seem to not be as put out there as I think they should be. There are actually a ton of resources out there, just that most people have never heard of them or really don't know much about them. They could really need some help and be too stubborn to go get any (like myself, until recently). I think that if people had a different view on it and if it was put out in the open more, there could be less problems. The general ideas I hear behind people are they do not want to go to a therapist or a psychiatrist because they think it makes them look weak, and that their friends and family will value them less for going, when in reality it is quite the opposite.

I also think that the empathy idea is a very strong possibility. There are quite a lot of people out there now that are quite selfish and self centered in their ways. Just an example, I have seen my buddy's girlfriend now tear apart 2 of his good friendships with long time friends because she wants him all to her self. It's all about what she wants.

Evening all. Just sitting around hacking up both lungs. Seeing how where sharing photos, how bout one of the nasty sputum??? Uhh, no, I'll spare you all.

A couple of years ago I picked up an 88 Polaris 4X4 250 2 cycle. Got it running and added a 48" plow off of a lawn tractor with a homemade mount. I have a couple hundred into it and it plows pretty good. I still need the snowblower once in a while to knock back the mounds. Of course, if I just used the snowblower, I'd be done a lot quicker but what would be the fun of doing that?

I kinda do - LOL. My driveway snow ends up on/over the property line, but they don't use the property there. He actually lives across town, next door is just one of his rental properties, so he don't give the place much thought so long as the rent checks clear.

I actually had an avalanche last year with my snow bank. Snow thrower vibrations caused it I guess, was far enough over it came down & got me & the blower, but only ankle deep. "Did I do that?"

    Morning all! Happy Friday! :bananadance:

They must be trying to hold back Moosehead with Jersey Barriers

Might be for snow control; they get a lot of drifting up that way during the winter.

Wait until tomorrow morning, lol. We've got a forecast low overnight of 14 degrees and windy here. Looks like I'm going to want to wear my insulated overalls during tomorrow morning's deer stand.

Morning all, 1st Saturday for me.

Great convo on the mass shooting stuff. And the disengaged social connections is in my opinion Avery large part of this. On the mental health services, we need to remember that some one who needs this help tends to not be think rationally, and thus it's very difficult to seek that help. It really is up to those around the person with mental health needs to assist them in getting the help. So thus we are back to the social connection, but the problem there is the fear of offending others by "telling" them they need mental health support. I remember when this mass shooting stuff was only in the postal service.

And burns suck, my dumb ass burned my leg not once but twice in the last 3 months, on the dam motorcycle exhaust. The second time was just slightly off centered on the first that had not even completely healed, one would think I would wear pants.

Does anyone have a garage door hookup? I need to move the tracks higher and get a side hinted opener, and the guys at diamond overhead doors aren't honoring the quote I got originally

It was 47 when i went out in the woods at 5:30 and by 9:30 it was 34.
It got a little too sporty up in the tree when the wind started to crank up.

Should I post some more photos of my foot? Or maybe the helmet that I was wearing that probably saved my life?
