I have done two retrofits on both the older 05 and 2012. They arnt bad at all man. Just make sure you dremel the little piece on the back of the stock housing and adjust the projectors while they are on the vehicle before you seal them up with the lens. My retro stuff with morimoto was like 280 shipped but with long travel it's a pretty cheap investment for the outcome to me.

 

Rest of parts ordered for the Dynatrac Rear... FINALLY!

Just need to get the UBolt Flip Kit ordered from Wheelers, and everything will be good to go more than likely.

 

Picked up a trail honcho last night, its a little rough but I think it can do 3s as is, might see if i can build it to do some 4 diamonds

Best buy for RC crawler around $300 ? Anything decent out there ?

lol.. The last time I messed with anything RC was way back in the Grasshopper days (for those who remember).

Grass / concrete primarily.

 

Nice rigs. I used to have a gas 2.5 tmaxx, two slashes, and a Revo. I tried out rc planes and after that I wasn't the same and sold my cars. Anyone fly planes around here or is it too windy?

 

@Silverspool hates on them, but he’s been out of the game for decades, but I see a lot of good things about the redcat Everest. Comes with all the bells and whistles out of the box. (Assuming you want a crawler). I have a 2wd slash I enjoy beating on and going to Indy RC on Sunday

 

My pop and I fly. I have a few. Mostly stick to 3dhobbyshop planes but have a few scale planes as well.

if you want a higher speed solid axle rock racer, bomber or wraith. If your want an IFS rock racer, twin hammers, yeti, rock rey
