pita you say... start with a 3"lift and add a hybrid front bumper with fiberglass fenders. I've got a hell of a reach to anything in the engine bay

Didn’t even see it. I’m going to dive in once I get my truck back from the shop.

Well considering the bypass valve is completely underneath the 4 cyl supercharger and all the crap on the driver side engine bay is in the way, yeah it’s gonna be a PITA. I’ll have to look when I get my truck back. May have to work through the wheelwell or underneath.

Was literally about to order the pulley right before I started this thread. Not sure what pulley to get, thinking 2.6 or maybe 2.5. Live at 3400 ft if that's a factor. Have the Walbro fuel pump

If you want to do it on your phone, maybe the PLX stuff will do it.

I plan to do the bypass valve mod this weekend on my truck. I figured I'd do it to my daily driver too but looks like GM didn't place a restrictor on the ZL1, however there is some preload on the bypass valve to keep it open. Has anyone checked on our trucks to see if they got anything like that? Video included for reference.

Is your valve body modified already?

That's how you adjust It? Shoot. I thought you had to sit there and mess with the set screw.

To be honest I would think via the set screw is the correct way to adjust it but the slots on the valve might suggest otherwise (but at the same time it could be to make the valve more universal for different vehicles). Makes me wonder how it is done from the factory.

Same here, because to access that valve is a stupid tight fit back there.

Do you mean the removing the restrictor orifice from the bypass valve. Planning on it but haven't done it yet

Who wants to sponsor my truck and pay for all these go fast goodies for me? I just found out I'm going to be without a real job for the next 2 years or so in order to complete my engineering program. So bye bye truck funds:annoyed: just glad it's paid off and I'm not saying bye bye truck
