    I was out at 6:30 this morning, watching a couple doe's, then a coyote came out of nowhere and chased them off. Didn't have time to get a shot on it. :mad:

    Still a good deal . A shop in Pa near my brother sold a Phoenix this year for $900. Both bows I bought had scopes ,quivers and 4 bolts . Shop also gave me a package of broadheads ! So awesome deal ! $900 for both :yes:

    Windy as hell today. Saw a little 4 pt that looked to have been hit by a car or shot, his front leg was all messed up and hopping around. Would've taken him if he came in range. Tomorrow supposed to be in the 20s and less windy.

    I found a whitetail buck bedded down at about 11am today. I laid down in the snow and waited for him to get up and then popped him. He's not huge but I think he's decent enough for a public land buck. I had to drag him way down the mountain but luckily it was down hill and it snow. Pics to come...

    he was broadside but just slightly quartering away. Exit wound through his front leg. Very obvious blood trail in the snow. I'm happy to go home with meat.

    Rattled up a nice 8 pointer yesterday @ 1030. He would not commit any closer than 70 yards .. He would be history if it were rifle season! Headed out in the morning .19 degrees tomorrow am with a high of 34 .
