Man i got super lucky on mine. Found one in Raleigh that matched my truck for a 3rd gen. Got it for $1000.

 

Cutting up my donor grill for the satoshi mod.

 

Nice! I am looking and trying to decide what kind of grill I want to upgrade too.

In the main shop in Charlotte, just graduated from the Think Big program in May of this year.

 

Are those STT Max tires? Skid plates look good.

 

IDK what that is. I had to do the figure this shit out as you go program starting back in '88. They gave us classes from Cat to attend but you still had to self teach alot

 

Yep. Been really happy with them so far

 

Its a school program that Caterpillar came out with about 15 years or so ago. Basically you get hired by a dealer and spend the next two years going to school two months at a time and then working two months at a time.

 

The ST Maxx's are fantastic and great color choice BTW

 

Sounds like a good idea all they did back then was hire young fellas from diesel college. They were ok with engines but everything else they had their heads up their asses

 

Was stuck on I-85 since 4 pm. 3 wrecks from exit 39 to 33. Demolition derby on the interstate today...ugh

 

It definitely helps to get your foot in the door and get started if you've never worked on equipment before.
