    unless this cost if added to the unknown true msrp to get the msrp they post.

    so If we subtract the cost of the PQ per model basis, that will get us the true MSRP

    ie: if the msrp of 7128 is 32,145 and we subtract say the 570 msrp of PQ for that particular model code, then the real msrp of 7128 is 32,145-570 = 31578. we will have to see how this falls out once I can get real numbers and cost finalized from a 3rd party source.

    this looks odd compared to last year when the base msrp for 7128 was 30,485 but its feasible as the base increase from 2017 MY was roughly $1,093 msrp before the mid year price increase.

    another example :

    7148 = 33150 - 2375 PQ for this model code = 30,775
    7172 = 33,650 - 2375 PQ for this model code = 31,275

    or does it get computed like :

    7148 = 33150 + 2375 PQ for this model code = 35,525 new msrp
    7172 = 33,650 + 2375 PQ for this model code = 36,025 new msrp

    again this is all speculation as we will never know how Toyota usa bases it numbers on for msrp. too many what if scenarios to come to a real conclusion.

    Base Sport looks like code is PY, the premium is PQ.

    7148 with no options = $33,150 MSRP
    7148 with PQ is (33,150 + 2,735 = $35,885 MSRP)
    7148 with PQ+TC+TP is (33,150 + 2,735 + 650 + 800 = $37,335 MSRP)

    7172 with no options = $33,650 MSRP
    7172 with PQ is (33,650 + 2,735 = $36,385 MSRP)
    7172 with PQ+TC+TP is (33,650 + 2,735 + 650 + 800 = $37,835 MSRP)

    For good measure:
    7128 with no options = $31,895 MSRP
    7128 with PQ is (31,895 + 570 = $32,465 MSRP)
    7128 with PQ+TC+TP is (31,895 + 570 + 650 + 800 = $33,915 MSRP)

    I work next to the freeway in San Diego and I see the truck loads of Tacomas go by everyday from baja and today and I saw the some 2018 trd sports and off roads with the new grills. So brace yourselves people they are coming and the new grill looks darker than the 16 and 17 one in person looked good in my opinion alot less chrome

    Saw the first 2018 on my dealers website today. Stock photo, but maybe on the lot. I am going to try and get there over the next couple of days and see if it is on the lot. Screen shot is of the 2018 Sport and a 2017 Sport; price is almost the same.

    Not much stock left.
    If the 2018's are hitting the lot, then why can't we build them on toyota.com. My local dealer doesn't want to get excited until there up on the website. The salesman seemed fairly clueless.

    Weird, a VIN search yields this:

    upload_2017-11-10_12-23-50.jpg

    The pictures are definitely not 2018 though.

    It certainly is. I haven't had the chance to get up there yet to see if they actually have it on their lot. My guess is no, and it is more than likely in transport to the dealer.

    I just checked out a 2018 Tacoma Off Road DCSB 4x4 with the Offroad Premium package in person at a nearby Toyota dealer. They just got it in today. It looked literally just off the truck. They hadnt even prepped it yet. I had to pull the protective plastic from the factory off the seats. The new interior black leather looked BAD ASS. Very nice quality. Just like the Pro models, but with all black stitching. So, yep, the 2018's are arriving!

    Interior looks tight.

    I wonder why they are hitting dealer lots, but they don't have them on toyota.com :notsure:
