I’ve been seriously considering the STT Pro 285/75R16.

Just never been a big fan of a straight M/T tire.

I had the STT Pro’s on my F-150 and they rode more like the BFG’s. Didnt sound or ride like a mud tire on the road.

I would tell you to reach out to HomerTaco but I don’t think he’s making 3rd Gen grills yet.

I’ll be ordering my mesh from him and I’ve got a Toyota emblem from a 1970 FJ40 Land Cruiser for it:

I like a medium tire. Wide and good amount of tire showing. I couldn’t run narrow and tall. My eyes won’t let me. I like wide tires. It’s dumb I know, but I can’t help it. lol

I'm going to be in Gastonia for a week. I get in Tuesday night. Staying with an old friend. Any suggestions on things to do? And any of you want to meet up for beers one of the days? I'll be there until Sunday

You ought to try being old like me, well maybe you are idk, my jeep I used to run 36x 15.5's and 35x14.5's . A buddy used to run 39x18's. For me to switch to 255's was going against the grain but haven't regretted it for a minute in any terrain or conditions

I ordered my mesh from customcargrills.com with the 3 inch letters. 120 out the door. Add a dremel and some amazing goop and its a done deal

Who doesn’t like the “looks” of their truck? I get anywhere I want to go with a 275/285 width tire and a 70/75 height without worrying about tearing up my rims.

NOW, when I see a Tacoma with a 20” wheel and a Nitto Trail Grappler rubber band around it, I do get a good laugh. And the guys that wrap a 10” wide tire on a 12” rim and the sidewalls are blowing out, I laugh at that too. :D

Just heard a lot of horror stories out of that place. Best bet if you are in Gastonia is to take a trip to the Concord/Charlotte area.
