I haven't been hanging around much lately, did anyone confirm if the 6sp manual 2.7 would be available for 2018? That would take the sting away a bit.

My local dealer has an SR 4wd 5 spd with convenience package on the lot. It's been there a while. PM and I'll give you the name of the Internet salesman who gave me a decent price on my TRD OR there.

$3k off a truck that won’t exist next year?

And you think you’re the only guy who wants it? Demand increases when supply drops, so bring your wallet. There is no incentive to give you a larger than normal price incentive.

Just tel them you will only purchase the truck if you can see the invoice and pay the invoice price.

I checked the inventory of 4cyl, 5-speed 4x4's at toyota.com and there are NONE in the Los Angeles region, 22 in northern and central California, 11 in western Oregon and 8 in the Seattle area. So they'll probably all be sold during the next 4-8 weeks.

For those who don't know yet, no 4 cylinder 2018's will be built was ANY manual transmission. Only the V6 will have a 6 speed manual option.

Haven’t checked this month yet but in October the Costco sheet said $250 below invoice.

If you're not a Costco member, spend the $55 and become one if you plan to buy a Tacoma. I purchased a 2017 DCLB TRD OffRoad for $3,446.33 off of MSRP just by showing them my Costco card. Also got 50% off accessories and extended/lifetime warranties.

In my area, Western Washington, the SR 5 speed manual transmissions are going for about $26,750 with the convenience package and the ones with out are going for about $24,500. They are going fast though and just about all that is left in the area are the white ones and the silver ones. I was hoping there might be one last surge of Gray or Black but it doesn't look like Washington State will be getting any more.

Worst case scenario, can always pick up a used one that someone decides isn't what they wanted.

Damn, I guess I lucked out getting mine for 24,600! The salesman was so confused why I wanted such a plain truck... HA.

The salesmen have no clue. Just another widget they sold for a commission.

Thanks for the tip. A dealer in the Sacramento, Calif. area offered me a Costco discount of $1,939 off the MSRP of $27,783 on a new 4 cyl 5-speed 4x4 truck this evening although the dealer lied and said the $1,939 discount was $700 below invoice!

He spelled below wrong. I would be wary.

No one gets more then a couple grand off msrp without some kind of tie to the dealer.
