I haven't paid attention to the price of K1 have 2 Kerosun in the storage shed and haven't used them in a few years. Grew up with them we had black oil and that was an upgrade over coal I remember the coal well. The Kerosun's would turn the paint on the walls yellow over a couple of years and I remember that well because I hated painting. If you can get wood at a decent price.. But it is labor intensive although I love the feel of radiant heat. Hard to beat gas though.

Yeah the big ones ceiling is not as of yet I have to get some one to come in and do a support beam the 2x4 rafter frames are to light weight to support much but the doors on it are insulated. The smaller one all except the door is insulated but it is kept at a decent work temp via small electric heater . I was just surprised by the increase in price .

The stuff back in the 70's that everyone burned out in the country. Unless you were still burning coal or wood.

Nice setup you have there. Should get security cameras to see you all passed out after all the grub you cook.
    Second thought maybe not! o_O

Yea can’t go wrong with natural gas if you have it. There are some sweet ceiling mounted natural gas radiant heaters on the market. I installed some in a fire station years ago. Power vented.

Na it would have to be propane here NG is not run out in to the rural areas here as of yet. I just need to get someone who knows what they are doing to agree ether sistering 2x6 or 8's on the bottom of the 2x4 truss would give enough support to put up light weight ceiling and insulation would work or put a beam across most likely steel for a post free support in the middle. Right now those truss's are W style 2x4 running front to back the bottom rafter is 2 16 ' 2x4's mending plated together to span 32'.. I know some one who might eventually give me an opinion @Ret CB when ever he makes it down......

    Idk
I’d probably do electric quartz radiant heater like we had in kennel. Did a real good job. Ceiling mounted.

I am a bigger fan of the gas one you mentioned before they do make them for propane too not sure I have enough ceiling height so I do not turn into a French fry but lol :} First things first is the ceiling so I stop loosing heat .
