So far only one person has said they ordered this grille on the facebook thread it was posted on. He said "it looks exactly the same but just a lot flimsier... it was a big notable difference when I received the OEM version of the grill, it was much stronger."

Guess we'll see, i care more about the look being exact. The Van Kulture one was too off for me, i rather pay $400 than buy that one

I think the ones for $400 are the fishy ones. :)

You must be new to OEM pricing, sole source makes the rules what the price will be until it's no longer sole source. Once that happens then price becomes competitive.

If someone hits your truck do you want it fixed with knock offs or OEM?

Just bought this one as well. From everything I've been finding, probably the same supplier for the "look alikes" going for $250 here on the site. $400 for OEM is a crime, worth the risk if you ask me.

I ordered mine a few days ago for more and the seller refunded me the difference. It was supposed to ship from the US, but then I got an EMS tracking # so I asked the seller what the deal was. Hence the price diff refund It's on the way and left China yesterday. Will update here once it's in. At $140 I took a shot.

The Cali-Raised grill is being imported from China through Alibaba. I had one delivered to my door the day before he announced his. Anyone can do what Cali-Raised is doing.

This grill looks exactly like the one I ordered. I say go for it. It’s a good deal.

Has anyone checked or asked where these "caliraised" are made? my guess is China --just like the rest except there is a US middleman in the supply chain who has to get their profit as well!

Here is a picture of the $140 grill. Fit is perfect and can’t beat the price.

Looks great. Now we just need a comparison of OEM vs caliraised vs ebay.

Just pulled the trigger on one.
I wanted to see someone actually receive one before I spend $140 to some company in China.

Looks good in your pics! I saw another guy on Facebook show his and it looked like the van Kulture one, all black letters with filled O’s. Are the O’s hallowed out and they’re gray not black right? That’s what it looks like.

Not really. They make a decent product, it meets their price point and their customers find that to be true (just as I do). I just find them underwhelming compared to other domestic brands of Chinese imports that are far better for not much more.

Maybe the newer stuff is better, but, I haven’t seen any of it since there are greener pastures closer to home.

No hate from me, just opinion.

I've held a TRD PRO grill at the local Toyota dealer parts store. I must say, it felt very cheap to me. My TRD-offroad grill feels more solid. I'm sure the Chinese PRO grill can't be that bad
