I started to tackle the panhard last night. It's tight, and the frame had to be notched, but she's gonna fit.

Here's the driver side panhard frame mount. I cut down the standard frame mount to make it work. My steering gets in the way of it kicking out any further from the frame.

    Photo Nov 09, 5 09 14 PM.jpg Photo Nov 09, 5 09 50 PM.jpg

Here's where she sticks through on the passenger side. The panhard needs to be negative at bump, so the frame had to be notched.

Thanks @Boomtacoma01 for letting me borrow the plasma cutter. That made life much easier.

I used a piece of drill stem cut in half to make the filler for the hole in the frame.

And here's how the panhard will sit at full bump. I'll break out CAD and design the mount this weekend. The mount will be a stand alone and will be outside the frame rail.

And yeah, it's tight in there, but everything clears. :D

Are you doing a full hydro set up or a hydro assist with your double ended ram?

It took the majority of today to knock out the axle panhard mount. I made sure the axle was centered and cut the panhard to length to start off with. After that it was a matter of cutting foam core to shape and then transferring that to steel.

    Photo Nov 12, 11 10 52 AM.jpg Photo Nov 12, 10 55 21 AM.jpg Photo Nov 12, 11 10 57 AM.jpg Photo Nov 12, 11 43 39 AM.jpg Photo Nov 12, 11 10 48 AM.jpg Photo Nov 12, 10 55 28 AM.jpg Photo Nov 12, 11 43 48 AM.jpg Photo Nov 12, 11 43 42 AM.jpg

I had intended on mocking up the entire mount out of foam core before cutting plates, but plans changed. I cut the two main plates and tacked them in before starting the infill plates.

I thought my clearance issues would have been when I was turned full passenger, but I had an issue turning driver as well. A little notch and I was good to go.

Looks awesome, seems like the double end ram gives you a few less things to worry about cramming in there.

Have you tried drooping out the drivers side to check clearance between the panhard and frame notch?

Yeah, there are a few things I don't have to mess with, but I still have plenty of other components that i'll have to figure out.

I did droop out the driver side last night. The panhard gets a bit closer to the notch, but doesn't touch! I haven't dropped out the passenger side yet as my temporary cross member is between the lower and upper. I guess I need to get on that new tcase/transmission/cross member build.

Your clearances should only improve when you droop the PS

Looks great as usual! On another note, I would seriously consider rolling those lower link mount brackets up 10-15 degrees. Mounted 'on-center' like that the lowers have little way help counteract the twisting forces being applied, puts enormous stress on the upper. If you need more vertical separation after moving the lowers up, raise the upper mount.
