Were the trails/fire roads any better than Sleepy Creek to warrant the longer drive to get there?

 

I would love to have a copy of any picture you have of us playing in the creek.

 

I only had to get pulled up 2 hills, so that's a plus to me.

 

how many did you have to get pulled up at Sleepy Creek?

 

If you guys are installing headlights, I'd like to come out. I have a set of Pro headlights that are waiting to be installed. Not sure if I have to do anything after it gets installed.

 

My winch got a hell of a workout at Sleepy Creek. We winched me probably 500+ feet up the trail plus getting pulled once or twice before we started using the winch. I'm a prerunner, the trail was steep, and there was lots of wet leaves/mud.

 

You'll need to aim them.

I had a similar run around experience this weekend....

I had to get my iPhone fixed so I took it to Verizon, they couldnt figure out what was wrong, so I had to go drive over to the Apple Store and wait for 2 hours for a Genius Appointment.... they texted my phone to let me know I was next, and it took another hour of me standing around once I got there


they got it fixed though. haha

he winched himself up quite a bit, but what I surprisingly lost a lot of faith in: Recovery Boards

we watched him just shoot them out from behind his truck so many times.....

I think recovery boards would help out in snow and sand, but they seemed to be useless in mud and slick forest floor

On a separate note, anyone know of a good place to tune a cb radio/antenna? I was thinking Burke lake in fairfax might be good.

 

8 years of my truck and not one puncture on the roads. Less than a month in to the wrx, screw in the tire

 

Just got told new tire is coming my way. Road hazard ftw

 

Did you puncture the sidewall? That's the only time I've heard of tires needing replaced from a screw puncture.
