New to the board, on my second Taco, had a 2000 and loved it. Toyota ended up buying it back after the corrosion protection recall, guess mine had too much rust. They gave me more than I paid for it, so all good. Been a few years without but now I have a 2016 SR5 and love it! So far just done aesthetics and simple stuff...

Debadged SR5
Added SR5 4x4 decals
Added flat black Tacoma tailgate inserts
Added chrome tailpipe tip
Replaced the chrome grill surround with black
Added LaminX fog light film
Added Mud flaps
Added bed mat
Interior lights LED replacement
Husky floor mats
Eurow sheepskin seat covers, love these for MN weather!
Did the premium speaker upgrade, easy and well worth it

Will be getting new tires and maybe a lift next year, cheers!

More about "where have you been", than "what have you done." Shipped my new TRD Off-Road from Alaska, met the truck and drove from Tacoma (ironically), through Yellowstone Nat'l Park, into Badlands, Mt. Rushmore Memorial, Deadwood, Devil's Tower, and then on and into Georgia. Really an epic drive. Just me, the truck, scotch and IPA, and my faithful travel companion - my Belgian Malinois, "Guinness." Nobody bitching at me, no timelines, just good times. If you look close, you will notice the SofTopper "Front Range" and Yakima "Load Warrior" rack that I added along the way.

 

Hit her up with a little Turtle Wax Jet Black And Meguiar’s detailer. Stuff works pretty good on black. At least she’s clean until Monday. If you’ve found a product you like best for black please share. Cheers

 

Installed my new RCI IFs, Transmission, Transfer Case, and A-Arm skid plates today. It took my son and me 2 hours and 20 minutes.

Thanks now if I could just get the kids to use an elbow to close the doors and touch everything possible I’ll be winning.

 

This morning I swapped out my factory tweeters with some Kickers.

 

How do you like those lights? Any pros or cons to them?

I'm gonna be using Chemical Guys V07 wash & V07 detailer. Used it on my first wash last week and it has done really well. It's been raining like crazy ever since I have yet to see a single water spot. I'm impressed so far.

Here she is a week later...and the surface still looks really clean.






I'm gonna be using their Black Light sealer and Butter wax, too.....the gear they put in their "black car kit".







I loaded up on Chemical Guys products when my wife and I bought our new Yota's three weeks ago. The Ghost & The Darkness, lol.

 

Tweeter upgrade... I tried that but the speakers I received had the wrong connectors as in the truck plug wasn’t compatible with the speakers I received.

 

This week, I had les schwab put a leveling kit on and some 255/85/16 cooper st maxx.
I can't seem to take a decent photo of it, but I love the extra height and more aggressive tires on there!!

I don't think so - I think it still has a 1" rake. Crappy photos not on level ground.
