Mounted a fire extinguisher to my XRS crossbar with some quick fists





A little peace of mind for those what if moments.

 

Unplug connector, remove screws holding it in, hose down with MAF cleaner until it runs clean or you get tired of doing it. Let dry and reinstall. Easy peasy.

 

Uh.. What exactly am i unscrewing.. I'm not sure which ones which..

ive gone back to oem since my afe would let small dust particles past the filter element

I don't think anything made it par mine, it was just clogged with dirt and rocks, other side is still white though

 

I was over at Advanced Fiberglass Concepts today and the owner said that if he could get 10 guys who were wanting 2" bulge bedsides to match their 2" McNeil fenders and someone to donate a truck for 2 months then he'd make a mold for some and the person that donates their truck gets them for free. I imagine he'd do 2" fenders through the same process as well if people were interested.

 

I'd do it if I had a 2nd car, if they make them I will most likely buy them, especially if they can have a shell

Maybe I'll do it when I get my first gen's roadworthy - I'll sell my pair after since I'm going to sell it eventually lol.
