    Originally not Expo AF! Kinda Expo AF now...lame.
    3k RPMs will not hurt the truck. I towed at the RPM in my 2011 all the time, many miles. Just put on 1800 miles of around that RPM on my 2016 4Runner and this weekend towed my current truck about 700 miles at 3k. Engine really likes that RPM in the 3rd Gens, pulls up the hills. (The only time I've found the 3rd gen engine better is actually at higher RPM, but in all 3 cases, higher RPM for long periods work the tranny less, keeps temps down, and seems to keep MPG near the same or better than trying to lug it in a lower gear).

    When you click on the rear third member, there is no option to add a lock, like the front. That and the description of the rear, is what I was referring too. IMG_5266.jpgIMG_5265.jpg

    The 8” is Off-road models only.... which are already locked. Thus no locker option.

    Sport, SR, SR5 have 8.4” rears and no locker. Thus, a locker option.

    This is exactly why it is a good reference though. He knows for certain his revs will be HIGHER than mine. This can help him decide if he wants to be at 3k while running 75mph.

    Yeah fuck all that. I'm running 255-85-16s and around town no biggie. Get out on the highways and get into some hilly terrain=suck.

    I live in a fairly rural area and rarely drive over 50 mph. Not a real problem for the majority if my driving. I drive more miles in 3rd gear than 6th.

    I did the 2wd low range mod to help with my trailer backing woes.

    There are 2 versions. One is relatively inexpensive and is a DIY project. (Use search function, you'll find it). The other costs $250, takes ten minutes to install, and is plug and play/ 100% reversible. There's a waiting list to buy the P&P version - look in the heated mirrors kit thread. Same member makes them.

    Speed was checked using gps. Also I’m automatic with no extra weight...besides the sandbags in my bed to soften up my Dakar’s.
