Thanks that's about what I'm looking at except I think I'd like to continue it on down the hood and the top of the radiator surround.

 

You'll be close to Belmont, which has a few good spots to check out for dinner and stuff.

 

Is it really shut down or is that just them looking out for ATVs and the like. Richland Rd is a public rd. so a properly tagged vehicle should be able to go on it. I would of stopped and talked to them to at least see what the deal was. No harm no foul if you aren't doing anything wrong and just asking questions.

 

So from what i've heard, you can still ride it up to the playground but no further.

Hey All!

Looking for recommendations for a shop to do a timing belt change in Charlotte. TIA!

I have a 2004 v6 with 103,000 on it and it just dropped an alternator belt. With that many miles I thought all the belts including the timing should be changed (along with water pump of course!). I think I could handle an alternator belt change, but I don't think I want to try to tackle a timing belt. I have done the maintenance on it myself, so I haven't developed a relationship with any shop in town. Any insights or recommendations are appreciated.

I have worked with Jeff over at Stainbacks Auto, on Weona. South End behind Auto Zone at Clanton / South Blvd. he has not done anything major for me, but have had friends do major stuff with him . good honest mom and pop shop. I am sure others will chime in
