There's a "hidden" gem about 10 minutes north of Amarillo

So I wont be able to make it this month to T&T. I've been super busy since I picked up these stripes and I've had nothing but headaches dealing with one super shitty soldier in particular. Going to spend the little bit of a weekend I have writing up counseling for him and spending it with my wife. Hopefully next month I can make the trip!

Been running around enjoying some perks. Swung by to say hi to the FIL...

Let my son drive the asphalt avenger over to this little memorial for a pose, too.

As much as I want to say “fuck those ricers” it doesn’t give us the same setup for the griddles. Is there even enough room for a DCLB?
Thank you, and thanks to Chris and all my other brothers and sisters who served.
I do NOT miss having to wear my stripes home anymore! Straighten that kid out - clear expectations, up front, in writing, followed by some swift size-12 motivation!

Yeah, I hear ya. Might as well stick to our original spot. Does lend for a pretty nice lineup

I already put them in writing during the initial counseling. Kid just sucks at being a soldier. Hates being in the Army and does nothing to make his life easier. Just flat out lazy.

Any body want a set of 12-15 OEM fog lights?

    FREE
One of them has minor condensation in it. Could bring them to T&T tomorrow

Was going to use them for a project, but going a different direction now.

Been super busy these last several weeks. We are working Saturday's and Sunday's to hit our deadline of December 1st. Building a 6,000 sq ft. Commercial Kitchen on the 11th floor of a building has been a major challenge but the end is near.

Hope everyone is doing good and I hope to make T&T in December. Thanks to all you men & women who have served. This day is all yours and hope you're enjoying it. :oldglory:

Been running errands all morning but managed to swing by Discount Tire to order some new General Grabbers. Hope to have them mounted on the 3rd gen by next weekend so I can take her out and have her stretch her legs.

I'm strongly leaning towards taking my leaky 1st gen out to T&T. Either way I will definitely be there tomorrow no matter how much I party tonight.

I decided to do a tire swap between two trucks last Tuesday in the dark. Definitely not one of my brightest ideas. Surprised a tire hasn't fallen off yet.

Best line I ever used was “Listen here: I can either HELP you out, or I can help you OUT. Whether you go up or out is on you.” They usually get it. Had one kid that just didn’t want to listen - tried everything, and we were about 6 hours away from the commander going with a 15. So I went for broke, and made him call his mother for me. Had a great chat with her, the put her on the phone with him. Within 6 months he was competitive in quarterly awards, eventually made E-5 and turned into an incredibly sharp NCO.

I’ve also denied reenlistment. What’s weird is that the last guy I helped OUT actually works at the VA with me. Good technician, horrible leader or manager. Just didn’t have it back then and still doesn’t now, but give him a trouble ticket queue and jobs to do and he’s a machine. Figuring out ways to make the job better? Notsomuch.

Everyone has their gifts, and not everyone is cut out for military service. The important thing to remember as a supervisor is that their failure is not your failure.
