Hey everyone i was just wondering if its possible to run my 05+ tacoma with a 6" fabtech lift with 16x8 wheels with a 4.25"BS or 5"BS with 1.25"wheel spacers? I know your suppose to run 17" or bigger wheels with a BS of 4.5" or smaller with a 6" lift to clear the larger lift spindles but i wanted to know if its possible with either one of these wheels and the wheel spacers to clear? Thanks in advance

You can definitely run those with wheel spacers. I actually run 16s and spidertrax on my truck with a fabtech lift.

how much did you clear by with the 4.25" BS on the 16's and the lift? Why did you switch to a 3" lift?

No I had a 3 inch lift with 16s and 285s it clearly all the way perfect no rubbing or anything far enough from the UCAS. Went to a 6inch and threw on the spacers and then saved up for 35s and 18s

I have 16" Moto Metal 955 wheels with 4.5 BS and can run without spidertrax. . In this pic at full down suspension travel the tie rod still clears 1/8" (Fabtech moved the tie rod so its mounted to the knuckle on top) and the steering clears stop to stop. This is proof that it can be done with 16s

So I called and talked to someone at fabtech. I was told that theyre lift the minimum requirements were to run atleast 17s. He did say that people have ran 16s and had no issues and thats like have to be atleast 4.5 bs. Its just that fabtechs company considers a 17 atleast to clear everything and make sure everything will be fine. I know a guy with a fabtech who ran 16s and 35s without spacers too. Thought I'd just share this info maybe it will help u.
