It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
    damnit thanks anyway E.J.

Well some ass hats decided to break into my shed last night. Didnt really steal that much thankfully.

But made me re-consider some things for my home security. Currently I have my nightstand gun...a FNP-45 Tactical with TLR-1s and suppressor then my carry gun is on the dresser (Xds45). Always figured that was good enough for what I needed. But looking into the shed last night I decided the FNP is good for in home use but in the event of outdoor use would be sort of lacking.

So the SBR'd 300blk now is going to be residing in the closet next to the dresser. I ordered a TLR-1 HL just cause im happy with the TLR-1s (and didnt want to pay a ton of money)

Any self defense situation/caliber you would rather shoot wo hearing protection? I know my .357 is gonna ring me ears if i ever have to use it, but thats better than the alternative

As in I'd not ever want to shoot 300blk without protection. Didn't realize you had cans though, that helps a bit. Although for your own sake, I'd recommend not shooting at people trying to break into a shed.

I have a TLR-1HL on my 6.8 upper (the light floats around, but that’s it’s current upper) and with a cheap Nikon prostaff 3-9 scope it emits enough light I can accurately shoot past 50 yards in otherwise pitch black.
It’s slightly bright for interior work (whitewashing from the walls/ceiling will get you) but it’s managable and you can use it as a work light in a room by propping up the rifle and letting the light reflect off the ceiling.

Sorry to hear about the break in, we currently have 3 methican-Americans running around our neighborhood stealing to feed their habit, because of that I now have firearms stashed around the house because my carry gun usually comes off when I walk into the house.
I’d rather have an SBR for home use anyway.

I'm no lawyer and I don't know your state laws but in most places I think you'd have a hard time claiming self defense over the protection of property. Just trying to save you potential headache later on. Stay safe.
