    WD40 won't hurt it. I do it on VWs all day long. Remember to push in a little then squeeze the tab, then pull out. Sounds dirty, but yeah.

    Once you get the connector lock to release you might need to gently pry the connectors out with a flathead screwdriver. Just be carful not to crack the UCON's little circuit board connectors things.

    Here are my cliff notes.

    Bully Dog tune alone = too lean
    TRD tune alone = decent
    UCON + Bully Dog tune = shit
    UCON + TRD tune = shit
    UCON + Stock tune = golden

    Brand new is about $600-$700

    Ebay is about $100-$150. (if you can find the right part number). The Xrunner ECUs are a little tougher to find. @Billy182 bought brand new because he struck out on eBay.
