    The 300ZX was a bit of a masterpiece of fuckery. In the same day we added a 2200lb clutch, removed the hydraulic clutch damper (makes the entire stroke of the pedal feel the same, horrible device) and started fresh tuning on the EFI. She was running great and I like to speed shift, well the clutch fork was not so happy about that especially with the damper removed. Still we were both glad we found out near the house rather than at the track.

    Also yeah welders can spark ingenuity and whatever the opposite is, haha don't buy a 10lb spool of wire if you have poor self control. :D

    I cut my teeth on Jaguars, Rolls and Bentleys and the 300ZXTT was the first car I said fuck NO when it came to any engine wrenching. 10# of shit in a 5# bag

    Yeah not sure I'd want to wrench on a Z32 300ZX but the one I was referencing was a 1988 Z31 which is a bit less "90s futero space computers scifi spaceship" haha a lot less going on in a Z31 engine bay but a great platform for power. My friend and I were just trying to get a bit too much outta her at 560hp

    I used a bolt with a nut tightened down as tight as i could get it. Believe it was 19mm

    It's a 24mm, you can use a threaded rod coupler to get a socket on it.

    I changed my old roller bushing to the solid one and this method worked great.

    1inch would be close enough then.

    Thanks gents, I'll give that a shot. Is it just the guide with bushing that gets changed out? #6 on the diagram, I believe.

    @gunny1005 price on P/N 45504-35031?

    Got a notification from Row52 a '97 Tacoma came in at a local pick n pull. I only see them pop up every couple months and they're damn rare. Always 5 lug trucks - never ever seen a 6 lug PreRunner or 4WD yet. Guess that's how California is.

    Picked up some stuff for my part out sale thread.

    Got mine from a leer/are dealer. They were cheap. Maybe $20 each or something like that.
