Today I purchased my 2017 SR A Cab (Nothing special. 2wd/auto. Daily driver.). Ordered a cruise control stalk to get that going. Got some hose clamps to protect the tailgate. Looking forward to a future int. wiper install. adding an exterior door lock to the passenger side of my remote-less ride and hopefully learning a way to get a more comfortable seat under me.

Thanks. Figure I'm one of an infant's handful of 2wd's here. You 4x4 guys/gals do all the cool stuff though! I'm a simple man, meaning I have to steal others ideas.

Looks very nice. Nice wax job. Not sure, if there's anything out there you could get that works better for a black truck man. Even if you keep it covered, it shows dust. I used to have a black colored vehicle before, and said never again.. It's next to impossible to keep it good looking, unless you are rich and have people to keep your car daily shiny. I would advice you to not spend too much of your time and money on it, but I know how we all feel about our trucks.

I know what you mean. I work with the NCDOT and I’m off road building Interstates all week playing in the mud M-F but it sure does look good on the weekends at least for 2 days

Removed front air dam and side steps. Tried to put steps up for sale but have to be here 30 days. Stay tuned to classifieds if you are an access cab in need of steps.

I have dealt with Koons. They always beat competition prices. The last new Ford F150 I bought from Koons in Falls Church was $2500 cheaper than anyone within a 500 mile radius. I beat employee pricing on that one. I drove 4 hours to get that F150 and did the entire deal on line. I was in and out within 15 minutes. Took longer to turn in my 1 way rental car than it did to sign the papers and get back on the road home. I also drove 4 hours to Maryland to get my 2016 Tacoma because Koons did not have mine in a 2 wheel drive. Still beat local prices by $2000. Was going to buy wifes Escape at Koons but Cowles in Woodbridge matched the price, $1500 below locals, and they were only half the driving distance. Koons WOW pricing beats everyone. I am a low price buyer and do not care about dealer perks. I have been watching for a 4runner Pro but they are not discounted anywhere. The only "hidden" fee is freight. Many dealers now do not include freight in their prices.

Finished the shocks yesterday. Bilstein 5100s, 885s, and 3 leaf AAL in the rear. Was definitely more work than I anticipated. Thanks to all who provided me help in the comments. I'm hoping there'll be some settling still. Will re-measure in a week or so. For now my increase is right around 3 inches, when I was expecting closer to 1.5.

    Here's the numbers:
    Front Driver: 35.25" to 38.25" (3")
    Front Passenger: 35.75" to 38.5" (2.75")
    Rear Driver: 36.25" to 38.75" (2.5")
    Rear Passenger: 36.75" to 39.0" (2.25")
