I picked up a Mavic at Sam's club a few weeks ago...only flown it in the back yard and at a neighborhood park so far. Very cool technology. My son has a DJI-P3P that got me started...

So I'm in SC for work. Sitting in my hotel room, I started going through my email. I have just shy of 20 packages filled with pieces, parts, and accessories inbound to my house.

I can already tell this is going to be a problem...

Anyone else find that when trying to sell your gear, say a P3P, you're only getting $0.35 on the dollar resale? I finally gave up trying to sell mine with a hard case full of accessories and decided that it just wasn't worth the hit to have the newest bird.

Messing around with my dads phantom 3 Pro trying to get some good advertising footage for his business, any tips? I shot and edited this today, literally the 3rd time I’ve flown it and it shows (IMO).
First thing I noticed was I need to learn how to be smooth on the panning and camera adjustments.

Does it have the tripod setting on it for the phantom? That will help with your slo motion and gimble movement. Also you can manually turn down your gimble so that when your moving the camera the small twitches become smoother. May be some higher aerial footage above the tree line would look good too?

What's up Ben!? I remember when you flew your quad around at rock therapy a few years ago. Pretty amazing how far flight controllers and esc's have come since then. I've currently got a 6" fpv rig running 5s. It's wild!

Not a drone, but picked up this Gimbal for $5 at a pallet treasure hunt. No one knew what it was, score.

Looks just about like the Osmo. I'd imagine it operates the same way. What app do you use to connect it to your phone?

    Looks cool.

I just sold my Mavic since I've been concentrating on photography and timelapse videos more than anything. Haven't had my Mavic out of the bag since July and just couldn't justify it sitting around not getting used. I'll pick up another drone someday in the future. I've just found that the photos and videos I make are more ground oriented right now.

Yeah i know it. Im thinking about selling my other one and buying the gopro adapter for this one. I like how the handle is thicker. If it operates just as good that is.

I wish. It was a treasure hunt thing and was in a bin that everyone was picking up and throwing to the side.
