Hello from NOVA!

Hello, My names Bruce! Commence the finding Nemo quotes. Whenever I get a new vehicle I always try to be part of a forum group and meet people within the auto community. Of course that is no different when it comes to Tacoma's! The scene is huge and the people are awesome. I come from a few corvette communities and recently traded in my 04 C5 Z06 for a 2016 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road 4x4. I absolutely love the truck! I reside in northern Virginia just south of D.C.. If you are in this area and would like to meet up or go for a trip let me know! I am eager to begin upgrading the Tacoma. Does anyone go to any off road parks in this area? If so reach out and lets go! I look forward to hearing from you all!

 

Whats happening Bruce! I am from Alexandria although Im temporarily in Dallas Texas at the moment. Many go to George Washington National Forest to play around with their trucks.

@Coot83, I currently live in Lorton right off of Pohick Rd. Thanks for the info on the park as well. I will give that a look! If you've ever been up to Katie's cars and coffee or the Clifton bikes and breakfast you've probably seen the vette or bike. I'm going to miss it, But I feel I made a good choice!

Well it looks like we are neighbors then! @ready6delta and @Superman910 are probably even closer to you than I am. I will have to check out the Clifton thing sometime as I have heard from others its a good thing to check out.

The NoVA group is pretty spread out, few of us in the legit Alexandria area, some out in sterling, Ashburn, Fairfax area. We tend to have random meets.

 

@Superman910, I can probably throw a rock and hit you from my place. Please reach out whenever a meet is put together! I am looking to mod the Tacoma in the near future. So far all I have done is switch out all the halogen bulbs to Led but that's basically it. At this point I'm just pricing out options and seeing where it goes from there. I tend to go overboard and spend more money than is healthy on my vehicles so I'm sure its only a matter of time before I begin dropping serious money in the taco.
