    Tacoma wheels are hub centric. Meaning they fit onto the hub itself to center. The other wheel's are lug centric which rely on the lugs to center the wheel. If you put lug centric wheels on a Tacoma then you can get the wobble and no matter how many times you balance you won't get rid of it. If you have a wheels off you will notice the ring sticking out that the center of the wheel fits in with hub centric setups.

    For the record, I ran lug centric wheels on my Taco for 2 or 3 years without problem. You just need to be careful about tightening all the lugs evenly to center the wheel. I have to do the same with my stock steel Tacoma wheels I run now.

    Well it turns out to be u joints, and the carrier bearing. I believe this to be true. So I can fix it in my shop without breaking the bank. Remember to heat the new bearing up before install.

    They balanced and rotated the tires. Then road force tested. They noticed a severe " slop" in all three u joints, and alot of play in the carrier bearing. So I'm replacing all myself.

    Didn't see it in your wheel's specs, but the Wheel "Bore" (Hole in the Center) should be 106mm in Diameter.
    That will fit snugly on the protruding ring in the middle of your hub.
    Hope that clarifies a little. You can measure it with an inside read caliper.
    If it's a larger bore, you can buy Hub Spacers. I have thin plastic ones for my 108mm bore wheels.
