Spraying in this cool weather is tricky between using my heat gun to warm the flare and the spray can then drying the bed liner IMG_1544.jpg

That's the dilemma I'll be facing when trying to paint my high clearance rear when it's ready in February/march. My plan is to empty my shed and turn it into a paint booth, and use a tent heater to warm it to an acceptable temperature.

Wife asked me to bring the truck around to the front of the cabin so we can load it up to leave. I took a little detour.

Great idea. I was wondering how I was going to do my grill when my Horns on Fire come in (supposed to be this month). My shed is full of scrap wood and nothing I would care about getting overspray on and I have a chicken coop heater. Man I love this forum! Thanks Randy

Thanks!! I figure as long as I get it around 70°, it'll work great. I've also got an adapter to run it off a 20lb tank, and I'll be able to run the heater for 3 days straight if I want to. I'd rather spend some money in propane to do it right the first time.

I love Duralast gold pads. They work well, they last, they're quiet, and lifetime warranty. Just keep swapping them out.

Agreed however they cover replacements forever. Just bring in the old pads, they give you new ones. Even if they're only 34 bucks why pay if you don't have to?

I've had good luck with Akebono in the past. They make OEM parts for Nissan.

Yea, I have power going to my shed so I plan on shutting the window and hanging the grill in there with the can of plastidip on a Saturday morning and let it sit all day to come up to temp. Shouldn't take long, it's a small shed. I can hit it with a couple light coats then finish up on Sunday the same way. I read that many light coats will provide the best looking results. I See there's a metallic version of plastidip. I wonder if that would look more unique. I also read some guys hit it with clear a couple times too. If it all goes well and looks decent I may not have to get the mesh Satoshi grill I plan on buying to replace the cheese grater.
