Get the 555 ones from Low Range Off Road. Good quality, I installed two brand new ones from them when I rebuilt my truck.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
Bought a dome light bulb... which is bigger deal than it sounds. I bought the truck over a decade ago and have put 180,000 miles on it. When I bought it, it didn't have a dome light bulb... I have never remembered to buy one until today.

I have the original P265/75/R15 Firestone spare tire on my truck, still has the green dealer sticker on it. I currently have BFG KO2 P265/75/R16 tires on. Could I use the Firestone spare even though it uses a smaller rim size? The tires are identical besides the rim size. The spare is also about 20 years old.

Ummm, you have 265/75/16s I thought, the 75 is sidewall aspect ratio and as such is affected by rim diameter and tire width. So they aren't the same size....

That said it is only an inch smaller and would get you by okay in a pinch, but preferably you should get a tire with the same diameter. Used tires are cheap and great for spares.

Oph typed that wrong. You're right - the actual size P265/75/R16. Thanks!

Does only steelies fit on the spare tire carrier or could I use another TRD OR rim for the spare?

You can use anything with the same inner hub bore, that's all that thing needs to grab on. I had to store my F5 on it after it debeaded when I flipped. Also my cruiser just has another alloy as it's spare, should be no issue. Although I have seen some aftermarket rims that don't have the center bored all the way through at the Toyota size fail to fit on there, stock Alloys should be fine though.
