All right @boogie3478 I watched the video, as I usually always do, and that was actually a pretty good DIY video. If you don't like fooling with the hose to drain when you remove the filter just put a plastic water bottle under it. The nipple will fit rt inside of the bottle and it will rest on the belt then you can just dump the waste and pitch the bottle. Keep it up like i said they're nice clear well edited videos

I couldn't get over how neat everything you did was. Gloves to remove oil filter, hose from oil filter catch pan, gloves to oil up the oring on the oil filter.

Good stuff though, I just put the fumoto on mine now that I'm done with free factory oil changes. The fumoto just seems so convenient.

I love ours. I just can't wait to get all the rest of the stuff we need to get away from campgrounds and off the grid, so to speak. My work situation is kinda hinky right now so I'm not spending money on anything big right now but we'll get there.

20171112_163855.jpg 20171112_160059.jpg Today I finally finished refinishing and installing a used set of nerf bars I picked up off of a local seller. The finish was faded and had a lot of red overspray, so I refinished them with a couple coats of rustoleum bedliner. Used some mothers back to black on the step pads after a good scrub too. And replaced all the hardware with stainless. Im pretty happy with them and now my wife and my boy can climb in and out a little easier too.

The 285's cleared in the front but with the BAMF relocation I'll be doing in the rear in the next coming weeks, the BS won't enough to clear the Smoothies so it was one less thing I had to do. Would have looked funny if I put them in the rear and not the front.

Thanks buddy! Yeah I've seen the water bottle trick and will actually probably just do that next time because I thought there would be more oil inside of the oil filter than there actually was.

Thanks! Making a mess during an oil change is never fun. Off camera I did almost make a mess because I discovered that my brand new oil catch pan, after it was full of 5 quarts of old oil, is very flimsy ... making it nearly impossible to lift and pour into my recycling container. So now I need to go out and buy a STURDY oil catch pan.
