Cap City Build & BS AF

I’ve got 1 more night shift then I swap over to day shift for 3 days then back to nights.

 

Actually starting to believe Asshat is gone! After 32 month's BS, it is hard to arrive at the mindset that peace in the valley has returned! Seeing people here smiling and going about their daily activities with joy in their hearts!

Still thinking about something a Lt Col told me when I was in the Army. Everyone goes away sooner or later. The only difference is, some people you hold a going away party for them the day BEFORE they leave. Others, you hold that going away party the day AFTER they leave.

We have an employee party scheduled for tomorrow evening. We had to wait a week just to convince ourselves it was true!

 

Well THAT blows....

 

Damn...It takes me about 3 or 4 days to get the system to regulate to a change in schedule. I never would adapt to that crap...

Yup it has its advantages. I work 4 nights, 3days, 3nights then 4 days in a 3 week period then I get 15 days off straight. But when I work it’s 12 or 16 hour shifts.

 

When I was younger, I was ate up with competitive nature....HAD to win at everything I tried. As I got older, I let go of some of that. With asshat, I was going to outlast him or die trying. At first I wanted out. Then it hit me one day that I was NOT giving up because of him. Well....I made it. Now I can retire if/when I want to and know it wasn't on his terms.

Feels good to be on the winning team again!

Morning dudes! For once I'm glad to be back at work and away from my truck for a while. My coilovers shipped unassembled and after a long weekend of installing them the wrong way and then doing it all over again its done! Also discovered i need to replace my lower ball joint.

 

Lol!!! Done is done!!! ​

Thanks! Took mine off, but thinking about putting it back on for pulling a ranger on hunting trips.

 

Yeah, I've ridin in trucks without them

I don't have a need for the extra travel

But, I do like how it rides.

I removed it a few thousand miles ago and havent looked back.
