Sorry if this is an elementary question. I'm getting a 3/2 lift and my local shop says only the 2 front wheels are adjusted for alignment. Is this true? What about the rears?

Interesting. So even with a 2" lift with Dakar leaf packs the alignment in the rear should be intact?

I've always gotten a 4 wheel alignment when I get one. Now whether or not anything gets done or needs to get done to the rear is a different story.

Yes just the front. I once had a shop try to charge me to align the rear. Asked them to show me how they planned on doing so...they removed the charge. Props to them for not trying to take advantage of you (shame I feel the need give props to expected/normal service in some of these cases).

Rear alignment isn't the norm. The straight axle means you can't adjust camber/caster/toe. But after Toyota recalled my springs my thrust angle was way off, meaning my truck is dog-tracking/crab-walking. The axle as a whole is twisted one way

Yep, the wheels and axle do not move independent of each other.
