Received all my GMRS radio gear for install. I’ve jumped on the midland micro mobile bandwagon now that a lot of the overland channels are using them. Went with the MXT400 since the

$165 mxt115 - 15 watt GMRS micromobile two way trails radio - off roading outdoor RZR farm - 8 repeater channels extended range - external magnetic mount antenna - NOAA weather alerts

mxt115 is having receiver issues. Real excited about punching a hole in my roof for my NMO mount.

Finally replaced garbage OEM foam filter on secondary emission pump with the 1” Uni filter! Stock foam was intact, but definitely brittle garbage waiting to fall apart.

 

Did this Sunday. Today I'm looking to get a new high clearance bumper.

My overland build is finally underway. Just added an ARE CX HD shell (with reinforced internal braces) to support the load and an Autana XL Ruggedized Sky Tepui tent.
