So your spare is the exact size, correct?

The only issue you might have is with the lug nuts. If your spare is a steelie and the rest of your rims are alloys, then they use two different lug nut styles.

So if you have to use your spare with the alloy lug nuts, it could be a bit sketchy.

    Ask me how I know.

The spare is the same size (number wise) but the rim is 15" instead of the 16" I have now. As @Speedytech7 pointed out the spare is about an inch smaller than the tires I have now.

I'm running 3rd gen Off Road Wheels and lug nuts + wheel locks. They're exactly the same as the original 1998 lug nuts I took off in exception of them being a bit taller.

I was thinking crossbraced, but I like the idea of the coil buckets getting it on.

ok, i took over a year break from this website to focus on money saving. my tacoma hasn't seen much love other then basic maintenance so watch out 2018 cause it's truck year lol. tires, allpro uca's, armor, redo the exhaust doing a half dual where after the muffler it goes to a dual, winch, lights, cb radio. and maybe a some body repair. and if anyone is thinking on the tires i have the BFgoodrich KO2 A/T im really not impressed with the year i had them for. the back tires have chippes in the tread for rocks and plastic panels (from driving over plastic panels when my job had me go to a dig site which the drill truck got stuck in mud) the work great on pavement or gravel but mud or anything rough i wouldnt go for. plus if i remeber right i only have about 25k miles on them. so im going with Mickey Thompson Baja MTZP3 M/T 265/75R16 anyone know how they are on tacoma's?

I don't blame ya for rethinking the KO2s. Other than snow performance mine are dissapointing me too. Hard to keep em balanced and they chunk out. Happy to ditch em soon.

my family has nothing but good things to say on BFgoodrich since we never had one fail on us. these are my first bfgoodrich tires on my personal vehicle so im just hoping that i had a bad batch but im staying away from them in the future. they just didnt hold up to what i need is all. not saying there a bad tire overall just not to the task to what i need. it happens to us all, and i got them when they first came out so they could have improved the compound they had for my set.

I'd be willing to try another BFG tire, they're still one of the biggest Michelin brands and I haven't had one outright fail but their performance is disappointing. I may try the KR2 if I can find it in a size I like.

Got my 35s on today. Finished tubbing the passenger side but my tires are getting close to the cab mount. Anybody know if a good alignment might help give some room?
