I just picked this up a couple weeks ago.

I do have a question about it. I'm coming from a much older Nissan D21 and I'm surprised how poor the Taco's ride is. It does appear that the truck has some sort of shackle lift apparatus in the back but the front looks stock. I haven't measured hub to fender yet but I was wondering if I took the lift out if the ride would improve a lot. What is your experience?

    Out with the old(er).

Here is what is underneath the truck.

The rear shocks are probably not stock and may be causing the rougher ride. Unsure about the fronts since its not a TRD, which came with yellow or blue shocks from the factory.

I just checked the center hub to the bottom of the fender. The front is about 22.5 and the rear is 23.

Bone stock. Gonna put the 5100 kit on it and possibly run some 265/80 with the bilstein at 1.25 setting

Probably those struts. They look stock, so upgrading couldn't hurt lol

I’m going for the EXACT same look but with 265/70/17. Would you share your suspension setup please?

    Thanks!

To be honest, I don't even know. They came on the truck and are some generic highway tire.
