1.5 months is not bad, I waited for 8 months for my whole kit from KOracing, it was worth the wait though. I like the forward intake manifold for the shorter piping run, it not good having a big U bend on the intake track, not to mention I have 2 more right off my intercooler. It would cut almost 2 feet off the run.

so much more boost will be going into my engine instead of just whirling around in my engine bay!

Also glad i didnt pay the extra ~$30 for 2 day shipping... And there was no way i was paying for over night haha

Is the Haltech E750 good enough? If not, what doesn’t it do?

 

Toyota or O'Reilly's perhaps.

 

No knock control. Doesn't have the ability to long term trim learn where any knock is, amd pull back timing in those cells, to prevent knock. That is my only concern.

Unless you find a way to circumvent what it has, and connect it to read a knock sensor some how.

 

Are yours fighting coming out as well?

 

What motor do you have? I find on my 2rz I don't really have any knock. But I rather have the protection than not, if you are running a 3.4 or 2.7 I think it is a must have.

 

OK, so it looks like the E1000 will work, methanol, flex fuel and all?

 

haven't tried. I removed the crossover pipe earlier and snapped 3 out of 4 studs after having them soak in penetrant and heating them to the point of glowing. Il keep my fingers crossed. It will probably be over a month till i get around to installing them. cxracing hasn't even shipped them yet.

 

E1000 has knock control but no long term knock control. It will correct knock but not learn.

 

Just for anyone that wants to download and play with the Haltech software here is the Map I am running. If you so choose to run this please verify all wiring or just import the tables only.

Fuel pressure regulator is referenced to MAP including vacuum
running a Haltech air temp sensor, knock sensor
MAC boost control solenoid
Haltech Wideband
and an after market speed sensor

Question for you guys.... ive recently turboed my Tacoma im not sure what the oil pressure was before or what it is now i need to get a gauge installed but for my turbo oil feed i tapped into the block beside the oil filter

im running a holset hx35 on my set up no restrictor.... what should the oil pressure be like at idle

what recommended grade oil can i run?
