So far I'm very glad I did it.

I want to go ahead and get the 4 door speakers changed out soon, too.

I did my door Kickers back in April and, along with the Kicker tweeters, they pay for themselves every day. Should have done it 22 months ago.

Love the wheel choice. I've always been a fan of wheels with holes on offroad vehicles. Only thought I really have is you should dip the grille black or get a black grille to go with the black wheels.

Attempted yet again my front camera install. Realized I was sent wrong camera and decided to wire everything else, still a cluster since somehow now I have a relay working but no power to her, or at least the connections are being made not necessarily correctly.

nothing yet, just tacked on the all weathertech mats and using the free factory cover on the back of it
throws the airbag code yes. but doesn't keep it from starting. if u need the space, pull the seat out. the seatbelt light blinks constantly but it's not that critical..

I'm still waiting for the day that you make something that I don't find amazing/cool that I won't want to spend all my money on. :help:

Seriously though, you need to make like a prepaid subscription service of small batch release items that are only available to those who sign up. Kind of like a monthly mystery box with swag, patches, or custom tacoma parts built by you. I know you've got a million things going on, but I'm just throwing an idea out there. Keep up the great work!

.....Interesting?....so Toyota Corp was wrong about it not starting........but have you considered that the airbag code could also prevent the airbags from deploying when needed?.......just sayin?...

A little bit of slider prep. After cleaning all the pieces, I was starting to regret not going with the powder coating option, then I realized I really dig doing this shit! Ground down the little bits of weld splatter, cleaned all surfaces, light sanding, and hit it with a couple of coats of rattle can self etching primer. Gonna let it sit for a day before possibly hitting it with some Rustoleum hammerd bronze, or just go black.

If you got the time and willpower it is fun to do. Them Mobtown sliders come with so many pieces! I was lazy and ordered mine coated.

I say stick with black or black hammertone

Hello TW! Got my 2017 SR5 DCLB on 9/23. So far I have replaced the interior lighting with LEDS, reverse lights LED, center console organizers.

My to do list not in order of importance is: kicker tweeters, behind lower grille light bar, front camera/anytime rear camera mod, additional LED reverse light mounted to the right of the license plate, OEM bed divider.

I believe I have the potential adhesive issue with the hood, definitely see it flopping at highway speeds. Also notice a little bit of the "driveline vibration" when slowing down under 25mph that I am a little worried about.

Love the truck so far! Coming from a 2007 Colorado that I had for 10 years and put 297k miles on.

Hmm.. The "Me-so box" much like a lootcrate, barkbox, etc. I could see that working, of course that assumes he has time to create new content each cycle (who said it had to be monthly).

Does he really need a life outside of creating cool Taco mods and accessories? :D

Now to get him back into the sweatshop..
