I absolutely hated the 20" wheels that came on my truck when I bought it. They had chipping chrome all over, the tires were about bald, and they were fugly. I already planned on replacing them with some 17" Helo Maxx wheels so I posted my 20's on Craigslist and ended up having some sucker with a Tunder and these 17" Incubus wheels want to trade plus some cash. I jumped right on that. They are in brand spankin new condition plus I made $100 bucks. So now i have 2 sets of wheels worth keeping.

whatcha think of my new temp wheels till i mount my 285's on my actual REAL wheel purchase?

Definitely a trade up but those 17s are still a blingy for my tastes.

It actually looked less blingy before, just due to the design of the rim.

You say they are ugly, but did you buy them separately or did they come with the truck?

good job, now just need some better tires. Tires shops will usually give you some money for decent used tires.

The 20's came with the truck when I bought it. I hated them since day one and vowed to ditch them as soon as the rubber was gone. They came with 275/60 Toyo Open Countrys so I figured I run those bald before buy my new setup. After paying for new tires on my Sequoia with 20's I never wanted to head that route again.

It took me a good while to decide what wheel I wanted because I wanted to get it right the first time and looked at every picture I could find on Tacoma World and Google of Super White Tacomas with black wheels.

I decided on these with a 285/70 Buckshot Mud Terrain. Picked the -12mm offsent with 4.5" backspace.
