I am trying to figure out where I want to live, so I will ask you locals -

Where, outside of the city, can I find 10-ish acres in a rural area, with or without a house? Is it possible to find something within 20 miles of town, or will I need to go farther?

Another option is to buy a house, and look for land over the next several years, and make that phase 2 of the move.

well, once upon a time, several of the bama guys decided, "hey we should start a youtube channel" and I was like "cool, I'm basically good at everything so what ever yall wanna do, just count me in." then a month or so went by, and we found out that LC didn't know the difference between potatoes and hamburger meat (long story but that is basically the all the important stuff) so scotty and I we like "c'mon Chris, you gotta have better game than that in the kitchen" and Scotty's last name is Baker, and I was like "hey brah, you wanna start a cooking channel on youtube?" and he was like "yeah, maybe but I don't cook that much I just kinda do enough to get by" and I was like "sound perfect you can be the guy with almost no experience that can still make decent tasting food, or just the camera/editing guy if you want." (my last name is Fitzgerald btw, that will be useful info in 3..2...1...) so I created "if it fitz it bakes" youtube channel and scotty was all like "woah man, you like so far away" and I was like but I work in Decatur so I can just swing by your place after work and film there" and he was like "my kitchen is poop"

so now I have a cooking channel and I'm running it all by myself because scotty is a flake... then end

I would say the best locations for land close to Huntsville right now are Harvest, New Market, maybe Hazel Green if you want North side of city, or you can go out to Gurley area which is East side, or South go to Lacey Springs even possibly Morgan City/Arab. West is Athens and I don't know the costs out there.

 

well like deer season opens up Saturday so maybe like... feb 11th ish
